The AARP is coming to the aid of the typhoon-ravaged Philippines.  AARP National President Rob Romasco and former Governor Ben Cayetano Wednesday announced the establishment of the Typhoon Haiyan Relief Fund.  Effective immediately AARP and AARP Foundation will match -- dollar-for-dollar -- any contributions up to $500,000 to help victims of the devastating typhoon.   There was a news conference at 11:30 a.m. to make the formal announcement. It was attended by representatives from various Filipino community groups.  In Hawaii, 14.5 percent of the population, or about 200,000 residents identify themselves as Filipino.
