Hawaii Cannabis Ministry founder Roger Christie is expected to withdraw his not guilty plea to marijuana distribution tomorrow. He has reached a deal with prosecutors, the details of which are not being revealed. Christie's defense attorney expects Christie to be released in about six months. He's been jailed for more than three years. His wife will also change her plea. A federal grand jury indicted the Christies and 12 others on marijuana trafficking counts. Most of the others have pleaded guilty to marijuana charges and await sentencing. A judge denied Christie's motion to use religion as a defense.
