Charges are pending against a man arrested in connection with a Waianae hit and run Monday in which one of the victims was dragged for four blocks. Police arrested a Kalihi man Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. He faces attempted murder charges. The suspect allegedly struck a 35-year-old man and his 18-year-old female companion in the parking lot of the Waimaha housing complex at 6:45 a.m. Monday. The driver kept going with the man pinned under the car. He was dragged and somehow dislodged from the car near Tamura's Market.  He was taken to a trauma center in critical condition. The woman was treated at an area hospital. Police say the suspect and the man had an argument the night before the hit and run.
