Prosecutors have charged a Kalihi man in connection with the beating death of a 38-year-old man in Ewa Beach March 23rd. Eighteen-year-old Gerime Bradley is charged with manslaughter in the death of John Howard near Howard's home on Komana Street just after 12:30 a.m. His bail was set at $200,000. Police believe Bradley was one of three men who attacked Howard. Bradley is accused of kicking Howard in the chest and taking a photo of his limp body with a cellphone. The suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan on Komana near Pailani Street. Howard was taken to a trauma center in critical condition with head and body injuries and he died there later. Bradley was arrested Saturday at the main police station. A neighbor said Howard was drunk the night of the attack and was yelling and banging on one of his family's cars.
