The Lions Clubs of Hawaii patched and repaired sidewalks in Waikiki Saturday. And, Mayor Kirk Caldwell and the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Facility Maintence joined the workers. Caldwell thanked the Lions Clubs of Hawaii for their volunteer work. He said: "Their hard work and aloha are a prime example of what concerned citizens can do to help improve our island home." The volunteers worked on Kuhio Avenue, between Royal Hawaiian and Kaiulani Avenues from 8 a.m. to noon.
