Honolulu Police are looking for three men who assaulted a 38-year-old man early Sunday on Komana Street in Ewa Beach. Neighbors called 911 just before 12:30 a.m. to report the victim, John Howard, was drunk, yelling in the street and hitting parked cars.  Witnesses say a dark sedan pulled up and one of the three men in the car got out and kicked Howard in the chest. Howard fell back and hit his head. The car took off on Komana Street, toward Pailani Street. The victim was taken to a trauma center in critical condition with a brain injury and later died at the hospital. A neighbor said one of the suspects stood over Howard and took a cell phone picture of him as he lay in the street. The suspects are described as in their late teens or early 20s.
