This Is Not What Replay Was Designed To Do

Clay Travis is bothered by the way instant replay was used in overtime of Monday night's NCAA men's basketball championship game in Minneapolis. With about a minute left in OT, Texas Tech's Davide Moretti ran down a loose ball all the way to his end of the court and Virginia's De'Andre Hunter knocked the ball out of Moretti's hands, out of bounds. After a lengthy review with several camera angles, it looked as if Moretti's pinky may have grazed the basketball as Hunter slapped it away. In the park (and usually in games) that ball goes back to Moretti and Texas Tech because you don't flip it to benefit the team that purposely pushed the ball out of bounds. Can instant replay be technically right but functionally wrong? Did replay go too CSI on us and affect a crucial moment in the title game? Clay and his crew discuss.
