Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why Major League Baseball stars are once again succumbing to an uncomfortable truth for the MLB's closest supporters: the game’s biggest superstars becoming money-hungry puppet mercenaries for literally ANY franchise.

Mike Trout signed a 12-year, $430 million extension with the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday which solidified the cruel reality of Trout playing the rest of his career for one of baseball’s worst franchises of the decade.

Trout is 27 years old and clearly the game’s best player, but has appeared in just one postseason during his illustrious 8-year career, going 1 for 15 in a 3-game sweep to the Kansas City Royals.

Check out the audio below as Colin says baseball players just want the most money they can get and really don’t bother trying to win and stay relevant in the process.
