Colin Cowherd: Aaron Rodgers is Using Victim Card to Cover Up His Poor Play

Colin Cowherd: “Aaron Rodgers should be a magician… In Aaron’s right hand he has the football, and that’s the one where he got scared in the playoff game -- played fearful and wasn’t daring. That’s the right hand. Aaron talked to the media saying a lot of people we’re ‘rooting against him’ for his vaccination status and he wanted you to look in the left hand and see that he’s the victim. No, Aaron, I wanted to pay attention to the right arm, because this weekend Joe Burrow was more daring than you. Patrick Mahomes and Matt Stafford were more daring than you. I don’t want to look at you the ‘victim.’ Don’t try to fool me with all the victim stuff… You watched all these games and you saw how poised Stafford, Burrow, Allen, and Mahomes were. Stafford’s team was melting, Burrow got sacked 9 times, Mahomes and Allen were these young and daring risk-taking quarterbacks. Garoppolo was limited but he didn’t play safe. I keep being told how great Aaron is – he played fearful, he played scared, he played without trust. What I saw was a quarterback I’ve been assured by all the experts is the great quarterback talent of my generation. He wasn’t close to Mahomes, Burrow, or Josh Allen, or Matt Stafford. I don’t want to hear that it’s zero degrees, it was zero degrees the week before for Josh Allen against New England. Aaron, I know you can host Jeopardy, I know you’re an actor, I know you do commercials, but I don’t need you to be a magician. I’m not going to pay attention to the victimhood on the left hand, I want to pay attention to what I saw on the right hand, which is a gifted quarterback who played fearfully, played cautiously, and didn’t trust teammates not named Davante Adams.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Aaron Rodgers is going on a media tour preaching his ‘victimhood’ in the wake of their shocking Divisional Round loss to distract you from the fact he played ‘scared’ against the 49ers.

After leading the NFL with a 69.3 QBR, Rodgers posted a measly 19.4 in their fourth consecutive playoff loss to the 49ers last Saturday, which dropped his career postseason record to a disappointing 11-10.

Check out the video above as Colin details why he can see right past Rodgers’ actions this week, which appear to be embracing his perceived victimhood yet again.
